WNL TIER 1 & TIER 2 COURSES

Tier 1 and Tier 2 each run a Flow Course and a Challenge Course over two days in Hyannis — enter one course or both. THE FLOW COURSE Flow is the classic ninja competition format. Athletes move through the obstacles in sequence and earn credit for every obstacle they clear before their first miss. Once an obstacle is missed, the scored run ends there — Flow does not include retries. Athletes are ranked first by how far they progress; when athletes reach the same obstacle, the faster time ranks higher, measured to the last obstacle completed. THE CHALLENGE COURSE Challenge courses are the newest ninja competition format, a twist on the Flow Course format. Athletes get multiple attempts throughout their course run to figure out spots where they have fallen. Athletes are allowed to retry two obstacles per Challenge Course, and may only retry a failed obstacle one time. The athlete must complete the failed obstacle on their subsequent attempt in order to progress through the course. Once the athlete has used up their 2 retries or fails a retry attempt, the run is over. TO COMPETE Every athlete needs an athlete ID from worldninjaleague.org/athleteid and must sign the Season XI WNL waiver. Forte also requires the Forte Fitness waiver.
